Brief Profile:   Charles Mbatsogo is a research scholar and junior diplomat specialized in migration governance in Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a double master's degree in Geopolitics and International relations from the Academy of Diplomacy of Cameroon (IRIC). He is a laureate and graduate of the YALI (Young African Leadership Initiative) program launched by former US President Barack Obama. Charles has over 5 years of experience in corporate communication, data collection and analysis as well as reporting, leading to various scientific publications and international communications. Currently enrolled as a PhD student in Geography at Migrinter Lab (University of Poitiers, France), his thesis analyses the stakes and challenges of return migration in Africa in connection with codevelopment. He is passionate about institutional communication, creative writing and humanitarian action.
