Brief Profile: Anila Noor has been based Netherlands, since 2013 working as an Independent Researcher and Practitioner. Before that, she worked for more than 16 years with different Research Institutions and Universities in Pakistan, including Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. She has been working in 2 overlapping areas of research. The first is Gender and Conflict Studies: Social Justice Perspectives. The second is Force Migration, asylum, refugee policies and advocacy, including in Fortress Europe. She recently presented different working papers to Oxford University UK, Bristol University UK, International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University, Netherlands and was part of Summer School “Forced Migration and Displacement” University of Tuebingen, Germany. She acts as an Emancipation Ambassador of EP- Nuffic (Netherlands) and Member of “World Class”, an initiative of the City of The Hague (Netherlands)
