Brief Profile:   I got registered as Ph D student under supervision of Dr. Archana Tewari in Western History Department, Lucknow University, 2012. I did my graduation (2004) and post graduation (2006) in History (Middle and Modern History) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. I have also served in “Rastriya Seva Yojana/ National Cadet Core (NCC)” during my graduation period. My Ph D research is based on migration of Nurses from Kerala to Middle East countries in between 1970s to 1990. This is a very immense topic which will be helpful for ongoing work in women, especially Malayalee nurses. The aim of my research is to make a better place for nurses and other women of Kerala named as Diaspora. I personally got admired with the women (nurses) of Kerala for their serving nature. This research is to draw a positive aptitude in field of working women.

Area of Specialization (keywords):   Nurses migration, remittance, literacy ratio, gender migration, advantages and disadvantages, government policies, women empowerment.
